May I ask Kevin a question or two,

    Why did you join DASA?
    Why did you help DASA?
What is your motive now for wanting to put down DASA for that is the implication to me?

You were at the Council meeting when Chris Hayter was asked to step down and you even voted that way, and now you berate DASA for having no leader when you know full well the reasons why.

I am just an ordinary Council member and I am offended by Kevin’s remarks. Those who are members and read Kevin’s remarks would take a view of, what is the point of remaining a member. I respond by saying come to the AGM and find out.

I agree DASA is going through a rough time but it can do without being put down all the time. It is true DASA Council are only volunteers with limited time, but we do not have friends who will give us the sort of cost free time we need to expand.

DASA does very well and exceptionally so on the limitations it has.

I ask Kevin as he is fully aware of this why does he now seem so against DASA when he was so PRO DASA.

Toni, I used to charge Β£2.50 per item Pass or fail. On retests after fail another Β£2.50per item. If they wanted me to repair then I would charge whatever I thought appropriate.

Charges now per item I would guess at Β£3.50 to a fiver per test P/f and charge what you feel to rectify. Do not forget to charge for cable and fitting the correct fuses, it all adds up.

I have just booked a room for the Thursday night and Friday. Sorry it’s late but the DASA meet the week before nearly put the kybosh on me coming with that week having a Bank Holiday Monday and all that, and now from early afternoon Sat11th thru to Sunday12th a family bash. I will be a wash out for the following week. Who cares I will enjoy the company at both meets and down a few pints in the bargain.

I look forward to putting faces to names like Penguin and Martin, I know some of the others like Dave, Del and Ken. And you will meet the OT face to face oh my gosh how you will wish you hadn’t come, my old ugly mug against that of Handsome Dave number 1.

    See you all soon.

    Re: Citroen Relay

Just to put my point if I may.

Over the past few years I have had a Fiat Ducato, the 1.9 deisl. The first one a woman drove right at the drivers door while I was driving. πŸ˜₯ πŸ˜₯ I was like 007 shaken but not stirred 8) 8)

Any way the door was pushed into at least the seat the front wheel was wrenched off and the van was totalled. I had another Ducato and although not as good it like the other one did not let me down.

Now I have a Fiat Scudo 1.9 another decent bit if kit, coming up for its first service at 14k miles very economical and superb to drive and handle. Its loaded full of stock as well. and it is darn quick 😈 😈

    Points 10/10 brill πŸ˜† πŸ˜†

    Re: Shop@

Earlier in the year I changed from a large van to a small one and put all my excess stock into the garage. I have recently had a clear out of the garage, and having seen the site shop @ I now have a way of possibly selling good but unwanted stock.

So if any one is interested it may well take some of my time to put it on the site. Well done those who put the work and effort in.

Ken what is this about subscribers. Please tell more.

I think Martin has enough to go on under the subject of β€˜why do customers’ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ 😈

That must take at least one chapter

    Re: Do you recognise this?

Do I recognise it er, well I do.

Some years back a customer complained her Hoover washer was not draining. Guess what I found ?? (no prizes folks). I showed the customer the problem and explained why it would not drain πŸ™‚ . I was taken back when she said it had been working fine for many years and it had been connected to the same connection all that time πŸ˜• πŸ˜• πŸ™„ 😳 .

    Who say’s miracles don’t happen.
