Ken, thank you for your response. I have taken the liberty of copy and paste your earlier comment.
‘Not that I am aware of, no idea where they would get that info unless they are trawling the WTA map, I guess that they could get it from there. Plus, it’s all offline other than that so I can’t see how that would be possible.’
This was the reason of why you was included, if it was speculation then why did you not precede it by saying ‘this is only speculation here’, that would have been precise enough.
The below has reference to DASA
EEE safe email. was originally posted by aqualectric on Wed Sep 25 which said ‘Got an EEE safe email today from what looks like DASA.’This was a standard Mail Chimp which was sent out to all on my list. If anyone feels they want to be removed from that list that is fine, no problem at all, they just need to click on the relevant link to be removed and that will be done.
Regards to you all

Hi every one, I see here there are some queries you have about emails etc, please let me explain if I may.
It seems some of you have received a Mail Chimp about EEESafe, one has even suggested the WTA/UKW member list has been hacked? If it has then I am not aware of this at all. I use all of DASA’s lists of present and past members, if you are on that list (*it may well be out of date*) and you do not want to receive any more Mail Chimp’s please let me know at office@dasa.org.uk and I will make sure your name and email address is removed. Please remember that once you are removed you will no longer receive any information from the Association.
Ken, I have no intentions of trawling the WTA map! To be honest I would not know even where to look. Plus I have no need to.
DASA as some of you may be aware, is holding a trade show. This show does indeed have EEESafe in attendance. Any queries you have either about/with, or concerning EEESafe you may register via the DASA front page, just click on the Register tab and fill in the form. DASA should also have a trade stand at the show, again any questions/queries you have about or concerning the Association you are most welcome to come along and ask, however you do need to register first.
This will not be an exercise in getting more members in the Association, however should anyone want to make enquiries that will be entirely up to that individual, there should be no pressure from any one at all. If there is then please let me know at the show, it would be very hard to sort out after for obvious reasons.
*The lists I have are not those of the Association’s, these are ones I have kept over a period of time and now I use it for sending Mail Chimp information out. I have them because I think the recipients (member or not) may be interested in or the content may be of use. I apologise if I have upset/annoyed anyone, that has not been my intent, deja vu or not.
I have only just read this post, hence my lateness in response.

Ade publish the whole email, I mean all of it. The Chairman answered you in full, it is a shame you cant respect that.
All this is being pedantic, it is the customer that counts, they choose, its up to them, we can discuss this until the world ends, but it is the customer that counts, if they are happy then so should we.
Nuff said.

Ade on this forum I represent my self, not DASA, as much as you represent yourself and not WTA, I assume you don’t represent WTA! The name calling only shows the depth one has to go to to try and make a point, and is childish.
I dare you to publish your email in full and the reply again in full from the Chairman, remember, I have been sent these emails, so, I am fully aware of there content and the reply you was given.
This will give everyone whom reads from these pages in the “RUMOUR MILL” the opportunity to see exactly what was said, and draw there own conclusions, the Chairman made it clear why you were not invited, and once read by all, every one would know, what you have said is taken out of context of the whole, and moved into the direction of what you want it to appear to be. Remember, I have this word for word, so I will check word for word.
As to what you think of me is totally immaterial.

Hi all,
I just thought I would make my position absolutely clear. I am indeed on council of DASA, however, everything I have posted here, is on my own, as Martin has said. DASA has no influence over any posts I make. I have, and will not, in any shape or form without giving notice of any change of direction to that of my personal position, until such time, you can take it from me, it is by me and not that of the aforementioned Association.
As a personal observation, what DASA does or does not do has absolutely nothing to do with you Aid. Should you want to tell DASA what you think then you have the Chairmans email address, I am sure he would be most interested in your comments, I assure you of this, everyone on council would be notified with his response and your original email. As far as 0800 is concerned you have to bring your thoughts to them, or take it further, as has been suggested.
Oh one more thing, 0800 absolutely love your postings, you have given them free advertising, and they thank you for doing so.

In the end, the customer will always pick the cheaper option, they do not always read in full the advertising, they look and see what is on offer, look at there pocket (money wise) and have a repair. It is that simple folks, no more no less. We can say what the hell we like to a degree, we can name and shame, take each other to court, but, does that bother the customer, in a simple word, NO.
So why all this aggro, does it affect you, I doubt it, will it add to your proficiency, I doubt it, it just shows me that someone wants to digg deep and ram it home, that is all.

FOR HEAVENS SAKE, CANT YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE.
You have killed this thread, you have gone on and on and on, bash, bash, bash, is that all you can do, if you carry this on at the DASA meeting which I understand you have been invited to, you will not only do yourself no credit, you wont do credit to the WTA of whom you are a Council member I believe, also you wont do credit to UKW.
For your own sake “GET A LIFE”.
