    no visable damage to the module, no damage to wires, customer said it did trip the breaker just before fault appeared..

    Thanks for the tips guys, went at it today and checked all wiring for breaks and so on, all was good. I had a different module from a whirlpool ber in the shop so I whacked it in and of she went…The module I used doesnt have the old machines cold wash function or variable spin speed sockets but its working fine. Its a shame that whirlpool continually price these boards way beyond any decent kind of price. Thanks again.

    I deemed this machine ber today so its slap bang in the middle of my workshop…….Its getting fixed, hell or high water, come on guys take a stab at it……..anyone? 🙂

    Just checked the price of a programme for the above machine 218 pounds plus vat from connect, thieving DGFHDGo’;dvujdvjDV ERSS.

    Hi Martin, took a look at that washer dryer today. Its a WDI1440GB/03 integrated jobby……Punter says that the E14 error comes up at various stages of the wash or dry cycle then stops….Ntc is in the vent of the door seal, theres a ready there allright but its obviously dodge at a certain temp threshold. Sound right to ya Martin? Same part number as posted previously?

    test for resistance thro the tacho…..possibly an open winding on the motor??

    Could be a dry joint on the pcb heater relay????….eventually it wont pass the wash cycle.

    Let me know how you go with the soldering iron…..this machines pretty new and at the moment its a scrapper in my workshop…..shame to bin it…everything pointing to the pcb but I aint replacing it as the askoll motor hasnt been replaced in it yet either….Im sure its ready to blow should I put replace the pcb 🙂

    Give me a shout byrne if you havent binned her yet…..there a great machine and worth a repair. Im in Galway if it suits.
