    are u sure it didnt fail on flass test some are testing appliances with no experiance on elecrics or reading all they do is buy a pat tester and go!!
    i had one failing appliances it was the suppresser on flash test if you read info you cant flash test certain appliances contact manufacture if unsure

    had something similar found out if was a faulty motor puzeled us to we had fitted several boards etc before this think motor had short on it?? 😕

    hi criss i used to aeg agent meny moons ago so had to change bearings on motors had to make tool for pulling pully off though not much demand now though??

    hi flash i had to make a tool for aeg motors it was made out of 1/4 extention cut groove in and fitted coller over end worked a treet used to replace bearins (well you had to when moters were £180 ++ if you want to see it ill send photo

    BEEN TOLD FIBER OPTIC MODEL OUT THERE AS WELL ON NEW HOTPOINT ???1 FIBER CABLE AND ONE POWER LEAD HOPE THEY HAVE FIXED THERE HINGE PROBLEM AS I THINK THIS DOOR WILL NOT BOUNCE !!!!

    remeber aeg had one to drop from 240- 220 volts on the lamp
    if you have rating will be able to sourse one

    HAD SAME PROBLEM IT WAS CURED WITH NEW CATCH BINDING ON PLASTIC LATCH PLATE I THINK HOT HAD A MOD FOR THIS??
