    Re: Bosch dishwasher tray

You shouldn’t need to “access the plate”. Model info is either engraved on the top edge of the inner door panel or on a label on the casing surround up at the top just below the lid.

Numbers given are insufficient to access the Bosch database.

Long ago, in a post on UKW before ISE began, one of the BSH lads said that it was the way to do it…… All you’ve got to do is drain the matrix and it won’t flood anyway.

Type “WEEE” into the search facility – been a fair bit of discussion over the last 2 years.

If it washes for a while, then sets off round the rest of the programme it’s the NTC at fault. P/no BE1884400100 – £5.50 from SEME.

    Re: diplomat model APM8722 problems

    Perfect timing then….. 😀 .
These machines are largely found as freestanding appliances, badged as Servis. A check back in the forum will give some idea of the problems people face. TBH, mechanically they are reasonably robust – it’s the control circuits that seem to suffer – computer boards seem to be the real weak spot.

It’s always a problem with buying a “branded” appliance – you don’t always know what you are getting. Next time, stick to a name you recognise.

Re: Fisher & Paykel 608 stops at spin cycle

Um…….. 10001000 is a motor stall fault – it’s jammed somehow. 1010000 is the bowl now being stuck in the engaged mode when it should be allowing agitation. 10010000 isn’t a valid code.

If turned manually, the drum does spin freely?

That’s about as far as I can go – Kiwi and F+P check in regularly, so if this doesn’t help, don’t panic – they’ll pick up on it.

Re: F&P Smartdrive – Does’t Fill on Startup

Nope – none of these correlate either – so………

    No fill is caused by:
Valve failure – if it fills in test mode this is not the case.
Pump failure – try running a drain sequence only.
Rotor position sensor failure – it should agitate during fill.
Lid switch failure – shouldn’t do anything at all.

Kiwi and F+P check these forums regularly and have a lot more experience than I, so if none of the above helps, don’t panic yet!
