Buy THIS – problem solved. It’s a motorised selector switch; the original version falls over for fun.

There are 36 holes in my 99GL……. 😥

What does it do between 54 and 52 minutes? By drain the soap powder, do you mean that it is filling with water?

I’m afraid your description of the fault is not clear.

It’s not logical, therefore the prime suspect is the pcb.

    BFD62W.

    010310003 – holder
    030150008 – O ring
    010300002 – nut

Put 672 on the front if you want to order from Baumatic and wait forever.

Motor is almost certainly fritzed – armature damaged and generating noise which the pcb doesn’t like.

It’s a Beko, so quite adequate on the quality front. By “powers up”, I take it you mean that the light doesn’t come on? The neon is just switched by the I/O switch. If it’s otherwise dead, I’d be looking at the pcb.

Shock absorber or concrete weight loose, perhaps? Damaged belt can make some funny noises.

Nice old machine. Key word there is old… The drum and backplate can be removed through the back of the casing by undoing the large clamp band around the rear of the tub, which will give you total access. Be advised that it is extremely tricky to put it back exactly right to avoid leaks.

    Power off first.

It’s just a Chinese dishwasher, so pull it until the latch breaks and hope that the facia doesn’t. If you’re really, really lucky, the installers may not have put the top screws in, so you might be able to pull the machine forward and undo the loop from the top. But I doubt it.

You might want to have a think about that, Phidom. One board returned in it’s original packing is less than £2 (Which I add to the customers cost). If you don’t return it, EMW charge a £10 surcharge.

Normally a water valve problem – probably the cold valve. There is no model 9.
