NTC failure is indicated immediately upon start up – programme aborts, drain pump runs for approximately two minutes.

Don’t know about the flickering – dodgy selector board perhaps?

    Now is the time………

However – almost all of these failures are down to customer mis-use, so don’t feel too guilty about making them pay! A lecture on the subject of cleaning filters, condensors and not opening the door half way through the cycle works wonders.

Look at the heater. There is a dome poking through the floor of the machine under it. This is the safety thermostat. Obviously, you need to get under the machine to see if it has a red button to press (some don’t). Remove plug, door outer and lower front panel to access.

    11. Suggests a problem with the water level control circuit – the computer does not agree with the readings from the level sensor.

Easy things to check – air hose to the level switch is not disconnected, pinched, trapped, kinked or holed. Top deck off for access.

Hard things to check – the level switch itself. This is not an on/off switch, it is a proportional control device, giving a frequency output to be read by the computer. It is an integral part of the motor control pcb, so failure involves replacing the board.

Nope, they didn’t mark the stats. Clever marketing, that. At least with the early version you could swap the micro temp.

Lots of bad footballers make plenty of money, so I take you’re a musician? 😀

Last year’s royalty cheque for our album and ep amounted to £7.37. As as semi-pro musician for many years, it was at least an acknowledgement of Straight Jake and Resistance’s efforts. The drummer in Resistance was a terribly nice chap called Hugh Whittaker, sometime drummer from The House Martins – huge at the time, before Heaton and Cook split the band for their own personal profit. Hugh described his royalties as enough to get a good meal a couple of times a year.

There is a logic to what the PRS is doing, it just doesn’t balance out.
