If the pump noise continues with the door open, the flood protection system is activated due to water in the base tray under the machine. You’ll need to drain it out to re-set, then find the leak.

Power off first if you intend to tackle this yourself.

Alternator valve will have failed in the top rotor feed position. It’s a Chinese jobbie, so I would be spending any money on it…..

Pulley bolt can work loose and the pulley appears to run true – until it’s loaded….

I got caught out with one of these recently – in the end just swapped pulley and belt. Not particularly expensive, job done.

Re: Bosch WFF1201GB washing machine ‘stripped’ program dial

P/no 265574 will solve your problem. This is the small insert panel on the facia with the two knobs on it. Around £20 – spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will be able to supply for you promptly.

Odom posts as though he’s a repairer, we do not know who he is and he does not have trade access on the site. I would suggest that you ignore advice given.

The standard reason for the failure that you describe is grease accumulating between the knob and the control panel causing the mechanism to stiffen and ultimately fail.

Yes. Coin in pump inlet is always a good one.

Pump should read c.33ohms. If water is running through the pump, the shaft seal is leaking and you need a replacement pump.

104 is a comms error, so doesn’t collate with the machine not draining. Possible that a foreign object is lying above the pump inlet.

Neptunes are US front loaders – we have no knowledge of them in the UK. You’d be best asking our friends over on http://www.appliancejunk.com.
