    It’s a 1/3rd turn twist fit from underneath. For safety, you are advised to drag the dishwasher out and remove the base tray for access – the metal edges are lethally sharp. Power off, of course.

    THIS is probaly the culprit. It’s screwed to the underside of the tub.

    Part is cheap enough, finding a repairer prepared to take the job on may be more problematical.

    How radical do they want the network to be?

    I’ve said this before several times and it’s worth repeating. Just issue, say, the top ten spares movers in each product group throughout the spares network and watch the “turn up and fix it first time” rate soar.

    Amica will look good, repair network looks good, customers will be happy.

    And, as we all know, spares really cost pennies anyway.

    Sooner or later, somebody has to see the easy, obvious logic to this.

    Advance from start position is quite normal. If the heater and the ntc check out, it’s the timer/pcb unit at fault.
