PCB – printed circuit board in the back of the machine. It is a notorious weak spot on Merloni/Servis appliances. There will be a number on the label starting 546——. This is the part number if you decide to replace the part.

Correct – no fill detected in the time allowed. If no water enters the machine water supply is the obvious candidate, followed by the inlet valve failing. If there is water running in, the flow meter or level switch may be at fault. Check that the water level does not exceed about 1/3rd of the way up the salt cap at the very most.

Most of us have had issues with dogs in a work capacity over the years, we all have our ways of dealing with them.
Let’s face it, it could be far worse – this could be the Postie’s forum site. I imagine it would be a major topic of converstaion and might even have it’s own dedicated forum…. 😀
