Now then, Jim – get on the phone to Fergie and tell him to make absolutely sure that they stuff Manchester City in the derby match. That’ll mean there’s one of the last four games we don’t have to win to get into Europe next season.

Try pressing and holding the start button until the end light comes on. Turn the selector back to zero, then try re-selecting and starting.

1110000002 is the actual part number.

Numerically, right to left, which lamps are lit? This is all in the diagnostics thread at the top of the forum if anyone ever bothered to read it.

It’s an American style top loader, yes? It has no heater and relies on the hot supply for any sort of warm wash. This means that by now the machine is filthy due to the absence of the ability to do a proper hot wash or a stand-alone service wash.

3 flashes would indicate an E30 group error – water level control.

If it’s round, it unscrews. Any other shape needs levering off.

I have mentioned this before, to howls of derision, on several occasions.

My customers get their parts at the price I pay for them and I will produce my invoice to prove it. The exception is exchange parts, where I add on the return postage. I make my money on my labour charge, which around Leeds is not particularly cheap. Overall, in real terms, my customers probably pay less overall, whilst maintaining my profitability.

Marking up spares for the third time, especially if you are compelled to buy from a rip-off wholesaler, is perilously close to theft, in my opinion.

Soft decision for the disallowed goal and it was never a penalty.

I have a deal of sympathy for the Portsmouth players and their predicament, but that was a travesty. They’d better go on and win it or I’ll be really annoyed.

Terrible dream last night – I was visited by the Grim Reaper. As I knew it wasn’t my time, I fought him off with whatever came to hand; in this case, the vacuum cleaner.

It’ll be an underfilling issue. The motor doesn’t seem to start until the level switch is tripped for the first time on these. The water level then drops, the switch resets and fill continues until it registers full again.

You can get the live off the pcb and the neutral off the p/sw.
