Re: elba pxdo 60 Excellence – top oven door problem

There should be some means of locking the hinges – a flip-over lever, a wire loop or a turn plate are the usul ones. If the door is off, the hinges will be in the closed position, so a great deal of leverage will be required to lever the hinges over in order to lock them. Then you can try and re-locate the door. There is usually a notch on the bottom of the hinges, which should locate it onto the receiver in the body of the oven. You should feel it slot home. The hinge locks cn then be easily released, allowing the door to work as it should.

Hmm – not hopeful. Better have a read of THIS. Quite a few possibilities, which ultimately lead back to the pcb.

    AWZ7814AL…..

Remove plug, lid, outer rear cover and inner rear cover. Remove drum, left hand side panel (from the rear), lower cover from the motor and fans and the front fan. Fit new belt around motor shaft. Replace fan and covers. Fight drum back through belt. Refit panels as above. Before fitting rear outer cover, align belt and fight onto tension pulleys.

Make a note or take pictures of the position of all wiring before starting – we’re not allowed to sort out that kind of mistake.

Allow Sunday for the job and retire to the pub afterwards. Contemplate that it might have been so much simpler just to ask your local independent repairer to do this for you.

    Re: Bosch WFF 200L

The fault description describes what happens on a wash programme, as far as I can tell. If the programme is cancelled and spin or drain is selected, does that programme complete? Do any of the rinse programmes function?

At five minutes into the programme, the machine may still be looking to top up the water level on a larger load (water valve problem, perhaps?) or bring the heater on to heat the load. A failed element, or one leaking to earth can cause some very strange symptoms.

At 11 years old, the motor will almost certainly be due a new pair of carbon brushes – again, if they’re worn, electrical noise can cause havoc with the pcb.

You will need a test meter to do the basic circuit testing and preferably a Megger for the earth leakage checks on both the heater and the motor; as well as the knowledge to use them correctly. We will not walk you through the processes involved.

That would be code 8 or 16 depending on which way round you’ve read the LEDs. One is only appicable to phase 1 machines (Yours is a phase 2), the other is not used.

Have a read of the sticky at the top of the forum and run the diagnostics; see what you get.

11 – pressure sensor error. This is the water level control switch and it’s integral with the main pcb.

    Try:
Pulling off the air hose and ensuring that it’s not blocked, nipped, trapped or holed in any way. If that doesn’t do it, the pcb is the culprit.

The old Turbo27….. Yours might be the last one left!

The drawer front was the old Candy p/no 62248.0 – it’s so long ago now that I have no idea how to convert it to the new style numbers. Most unlikely that you’ll get one from Candy now, though.

Door lock/switch mechanism can prevent the cycle starting.

    Re: Bosch Dishwasher not draining

If you are certain that the flood protection system is not activated and the drain pump runs regardless of programme selection, the fault lies on the pcb. You would be advised to replace the drain pump motor at the same time – this kind of fault is usually a cause and effect one.

None of the repairers really do board level stuff – we don’t have the time. If you read back through the forum, I’m certain there’s a chap who repairs them on an exchange basis.
