The pot state is a thermistor or “ntc” device. If you split it from the circuit, you should get a reading through it in kOhms. If you then heat the device, the resistance should fall. If there is no circuit, you’ll get F13.

The microtemp is just a thermal fuse in line with the heater. If either fail, you will not get an error code at all.

It’s a Bosch in a dress. Standard fault is underfilling, lots and lots of threads detailing this problem through the forum.

Pop a couple of towels down and lay it on its side is probably the easiest way.

Probably…. Get the tester on it – or just disconnect the heater and see what happens.

    Positive Mental Attitude – good…. 😀

OK, understand that the water level switches are operated by rubber diaphragms, which are pushed over by the displacement of air trapped in the pressure chambers. Chambers get choked, weird stuff can start to happen.

The skinny hoses are usually retained by small spring clips, which can be grabed and moved up the hose with pliers, you the need to lever the hose up the spigot with a flat bladed screwdriver in order to break their seal.

    Re: DES 959 AL6

AL6 is no drain detected in the time allowed. If it’s full of water, you have a blockage or a pump failure. If it’s empty, there is something wrong with the water level control system – which could relate to the IWMS.

Power off if you’re sorting this yourself.

It looks rather like the usual Chinese tat, unfortunately. Black plastic inserts can be prised out and any water syphoned out (with tghe power off). It is often easier and quicker to pull the machine out and tip it to one side to drin the tray.

If it re-sets, torch and observation time.

Fit new door seal – it’ll shut the gap. Plastic ring went obsolete in 1874.
