Circulation problem. Model number is crucial – check round the edges of the door.

    We’re all guessing, otherwise.

Bail out as much water as you can. There is an access panel in the left hand side of the floor of the sump. Remove the screw and lift the panel away to get to the pump impellor.

    You should have pcb 4812 218 38381.
If you have 4812 218 38347 the pcb is not configured.

Motor is driving a gear train – unfortunately any component could have failed. BSH only supply the heater assembly, I’m afraid.

Re: Whirlpool ADG9442 Error flashing 4 now flashing 2

4 flashes is drain not detected in the time allowed. If you are certain that the grid is not gunged up, then the microswitch has probably failed. You’ll need one of THESE. That is the manufacturers part number, so you may be able to source one locally. It’s a twist fit from underneath.

2 flashes is the overflow problem. If the level switch is not working, it may have overfilled and leaked into the tray under the machine.

Power off before removing any panel,

Try looking in the flugglebungsinkhole, you may have had a build up of funky-dredge-weed – a common problem with this machine being used by amateurs.

Remeber, most importantly of all, a few nice words and a caress with a wet shammy will work wonders on most white goods, and can be as much fun for the operator.

Fan motor is obsolete from Whirlpool. As advised by Don, shop@ may be able to advise on a generic replacement.
