I’ve changed the bearings on some of the old ones – cheap enough if you’ve got the time to source the teeny weeny bearings.

EMW actually test their boards on machine test rigs before sending them out. I have had 3 (?) problems in 16 years and they have all been sorted promptly.

    Keep it up, Tony.

Have I done the right thing HERE? I think he’s a troll looking for trouble. Op’s not getting his question answered either.

Ever tried getting information out of the Masons? The manufacturers are far worse…….. Use your test meter and set it so that you can test continuity – that wire goes somewhere.

Sounds perfectly reasonable to me. Possible that it’s blocked or eaten something which has disagreed with it, but I’ve never seen it. P/no 491756 is the latest version.

If you haven’t tried working on one of these before, allow Sunday to do it as it’s a complete cow of a job. Tork TX20 tool os essential.

Re: Whirlpool ADG9442 Error flashing 4 now flashing 2

Model number not recognised – is this a European-spec machine?

Whirlpool dishwashers indicate faults by a pattern of flashes from the start lamp – ie, 1-2-3-4-pause-repeat; rather than the number of lights being flashed.

    Please explain more clearly.

Lock the top hinge bars with a couple of skinny screwdrivers is the normal way of doing it.

I suspect that the customer is mis-describing the real fault – dispenser opening, but detergent not dissolving, which is the standard underfilling issue.

You need to strip and clean out the transer pipe to the sump – if that doesn’t do the trick, l/h side panel off, fill matrix off and strip and clean the lower fill chamber and pressure switch.

Re: Servis M3008W will not fill with water?

Water level switch stuck on full can cause this. If the machine has been running through the programme without water, the heater will almost certainly be burnt out.
