    i changed 1 on a Zannussi last week and there was a note in box telling me to switch it on then off again at socket and it worked fine. might be worth a try.

    Steven the prod no is defo correct. As for the stat rating ,the original one is still in and has been for 10 yrs, thats what leads me to think its a cooling fan toc combo.

    Dal you got to put wet laundry in to get m/c to work. then test 160 degree stat on top of heater.

    25 minutes to strip down and replace a motor seal ? I would refund money for the hassle factor but Id be asking questions about Billy Whizz Domestics.

    The common one is main PCB fault caused mainly by doorlock. Take a look under cover and you will probs see where its blown.

    Should i order both. Also how do i tell if its Janus or not, will Servis know from serial number.
