sounds to good to be true what about deposits, people who dont pay,run off with your machine etc and do you do other things like cookers, fridges etc seems a good idea and one worth loking into but sounds like could be a bit dodgy has well good luck anyway 😉

do you know if it is heating up the water feel the door glass sounds like a heating problem to me some machines do not advance until they have reached the correct heat and do nothing if they do not reach temp if this is the case could be something simple like a heating element or thermostat faulty but will still need an engineer because with most zannussi you have to strip the cabinet just to get to the simplest of parts

Re: The most expensive C**k up

two engineers i know built an aga in a 17th century house and didnt tighten up the oil coupling properly behind the cooker few weeks later complaint about smell of oil engineers had to go back dismatle the cooker and chase the plaster work and the flooring where the oil had saturated and then get a plasterer and floor layer in to match up the old style plaster etc become very expensive job! at least the other engineers in the company saw the funny side even if the fitters and managment didnt 😈 😈 😈

    Re: ACS training and exams

I thought has long has the engineer could prove that he had been working with another gas registered installer for a set period of time and he had been recieving on the job trainning along with his theory work that he could sit his acs in that field ie cookers or fires etc but i was lucky i just got in in time got to say it if i had to do it now would give it a miss and concentrate on something else dont think it is worth the bother unless fitting central heating systems etc were there is more money sad to say it got a nasty feeling the electricall side of things looks like they are thinking about takeing a leaf out of gorgis’s book 😥

just a thought the drain hose does not fit under the sink does it and they have dyed something in the sink or washer if that also fits under the sink it might be backfeeding just a long shot
