ParticipantRe: Bosch Logixx Detergent Dispenser Problem
Hi,
Many thanks however, do you think this would solve the problem of the drawer not opening or could it be an electronic problem on some controller board etc?Don’t want to slice my fingers off unnecessarily if it could be something else such as some microchip not working properly that controls the dispenser opening function.
Cheers,

Washing Machine collected Mon 21st May & “loan” machine installed (needed boil service wash as pretty smelly!)
Waiting for results on workshop tests on my Bosch……… 😯

Latest news is, APG are taking my machine into their workshop to comprehensively test and hopefully put right.
We can sort out the module (that was supplied and fitted but seemingly not required) at a later date.
Once the problem is resolved, I will post results in case anyone else has the same machine as ours and experiences similar issues.

Hi Gegsy,
Would never ask as I respect your decision not to discuss another Engineer’s repair – if you did want to inform me, you could send the details to my private e-mail address: pete.greenslade@tiscali.co.uk
Can I just say that I have absolutely no problem with APG at all. They have been marvelous. The Engineer’s are great guys (very knowledgeable experts) and the staff in the office have been very friendly and helpful.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend APG to anyone in the south east needing a reliable washing machine repair company.
My Bosch machine is proving to be a bit of a challenge to say the least.

Still no joy!
APG fitted the new module yesterday (that was recommended by Bosch Technical to APG) – problem remains – the wash cycle progresses down to one minute to go on the timer display then stays at one minute and keeps washing the clothes (mean-time it has not completed the wash cycle properly to get down to one minute as it has not done the final rinse or spin on the way down to one minute to go – if that makes sense)
We still have to press start and move the cycle on to final rinse (20 mins or whatever the time is for each spin then flashes up on the display) – it then counts down and finishes / beeps as normal.
APG have been informed, we’re waiting for them to come back to us.
This is proving to be a nightmare – anybody any other ideas what the problem could be?
We can’t keep replacing electronic module boards at 165 quid a pop although we should be covered this time as it was APG that recommended the module (via telephone call to Bosch Technical) and supplied / fitted it.

Hi Martin,
Many thanks for your reply.
APG have called Bosch Technical and concluded that I need another module: 263105
(Already fitted is module 263168, which it seems was not required)
The 263105 is 165 quid but if I need it, I need it – at least if this does not cure the problem, APG will have recommended and supplied the part so it’s back to them.
I’m in a position where I have spent so much on the machine, it’s not worth buying a new one.
Will post results on Thurs when the new module is fitted.
I’ll also show the nice guys at APG your info too as this may prove useful.
Cheers,

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint Aqualtis AQXXD169PM
Thanks for the input guys – if not the Hotpoint, anyone recommend a similar machine?
Need to buy one ASAP – Always chose Bosch in the past but given recent troubles, the wife would kill me if I unveiled another one in the kitchen.
Cheers,

ParticipantRe: Bosch WFP3300 Problem – anyone help?
The machine continues to complete the wash program cycle down to about 7 mins then jumps back to 101 mins and starts the cycle form there.
The approved repaired has said the front program selector board needs replacing and this is a code 480 and likely to be around 130.00 UK pounds just for the parts.
I originally purchased a Bosch to last a long time but have spent a fortune on it so far not including the board that has yet to be fitted – wish I’d just purchased a new machine when it first went belly up.
You live and learn.

Hi Martin,
APG didn’t change the pump but another repairer did back in August 06 when the machine first started displaying the F03 error code.
The pump must still be OK. The machine is clean, the pipes are clear of blockages yet the damn thing still does not finish the wash cycle / program.
There must be a reason it starts again from differing times?
The High Water level button is not ever pressed so it can’t be that.
It would be unusual if the Micro had gone wouldn’t it?

Latest…
One of your approved repairers came out, stripped the machine down and basically gave it a good clean however, the problem remains – when the machine gets near to finishing a wash cycle, it starts again but not from the beginning!Could it be the electronics have gone?
I wll ask APG Basildon to come out again but just wondered if anyne had any ideas?
The machine is clean, the pipes are unblocked and clear but something is still rotten in Denmark. Ho hum…

Hi Guys,
Many thanks for the replies – I have done as you have suggested but the problem remains, near the end of a wash cycle, the machine starts again. Maybe it’s just so full of gunge it’s confusing the sensors and it just needs a good service / clean. Other than that, the electronics are faulty.
Next stage is an Engineer & I have already contacted a White Goods approved Company.
Will post here how I get on….

ParticipantRe: F03 Error codes on Bosch washing machine
Thanks for reply – drain hose is clear, will check under the sink as it is a bit tight and I have dishwasher pipes there too.
Hope it’s not the pump as that sounds pricey.
