    What does your megger say? as Phidom says the spider may be cracked and damaged the heater although they would have complained of it being noisy on spin, check the insulation with water in the machine, fill it by hand to be on the safe side :wink:[/qu

    or use the hotpoint belt tool which is essentiallty the same,

    i use copper pipe works well
