    Like your ‘cheek’ 😆 😉

I would never have chosen a Samsung oven. Mine was a choice between Belling and maybe New World, but i have always liked Belling for electric, and i like their knobs 😉

Problems with samsung ovens then? :rolls:

Still waiting for the Belling, due to be delivered on the 21st feb, however slight problem with that due to resurfacing of our road on the same day! (as per my post on cooking etc forum)

I looked at the Beko range and could not find a cooker which looks identical to the Belling FSE60DO i am having, anyhow i think £499 for cooker and 5 years warranty with JL, who have a good reputation in this department, isnt too bad and i know i might sound daft (no surprise there 😆 ) but i would rather have Belling on the front of mine 😀 , even if it does turn out to be made my beko :rolls: .

Just got to sort this delivery business out now :rolls:

Re: Help Me Choose My Oven – Ready To Pull Trigger

    Hi anyone who’s interested 😉

Still waiting for the Belling, just had a very unfortunate bit of luck, a letter has just been put through my door saying we are having the road resurfaced 😯 😮 😀 8) .

However, the start day to rip the old surface off, thus the machine is full road width so no vehicles allowed, is on the 21st February, same day as Belling cooker is due for delivery :rolls: . Then closed again on the 22nd for surface laying, been waiting for this road to be done for years . Its a bit of a dilemna because, as you all know, highways are prone to changing dates, already says that on the letter :rolls:

Another disaster looming then :rolls:. Will have to try and contact delivery people, ordered from John Lewis but telephone call said the delivery would be coming from Glen Dimplex.

    Re: Service/Repair Manual

Come on guys this is getting silly :rolls:

If the rules say the information is not to be given to the public, then thats the rules end of.

The rules were set up for a reason, obviously a lot of thought went into this type of thing, which is why there is a trade section.

If someone wants the type of information that isnt available on here, then persist in saying it is readily available elsewhere, then why dont they go elsewhere for it then 💡

Rules is rules whether we like them or not, fact of life!!

And as for saying the guys just want to protect their livelihood, then i have never heard anything so ridiculous (sorry) but true. In fact i have always thought the guys are daft giving away tricks of the trade 8O, so personally i take my hat off to them 😀 . Lets fact it, you dont see many tradesfolks doing that, its usually someone in their shed, and you all know what i mean 😉

    best wishes to all

    Hi jaunty,

The cotton/white does a pretty good wash, but the ‘normal’ is excellent for things like my sons work clothes when they are ‘extra’ dirty :rolls:

I have tried the cotton/white with the Higher Water Level option and that gives a very good result, maybe the extra water making a difference with the detergent, i dont know but those settings do a damn good clean even on pretty dirty items, i would say this option is suitable for most expect items with ‘proper’ dirt on, like oil and grease, and its a shorter wash time (if that bothers you, it doesnt me). I often use this with a 50oC selection instead of 40oC which a lot of clothes labels say, just in case some items cant take a 60oC without falling apart :rolls:

    HTH

    Hi stryder,

Oh dear, what bad luck 🙁

Do as jim says and put them in the freezer (the bearings i mean 😉 ).

    Often heard that’s a good tip 😀

    Better Luck next time
