if it does this several times before timer moves to end the you may well need a new timer-not a cheap part i’m afraid

never could cook, except beans on toast-so dont realy understand the idea behind this function but THIS IS HOW IT SHOULD WORK so you do not have a fault.with this function selected and the thermostat calling for heat-the grill elements are energised then when the stat is satisfied it switches off the elements and the fan ON.this continues until
the oven cools down then repeates

i dont think rinse and salt lights are used in error reporting
sounds like there is no rinse aid or salt in the machine and the lights work!.no start may be door lock switch fail/open circuit i’d check that first

Re: Diagnostics programme on AEG LAVW1250

Not to many intermittent E52’s fortunately maybe only half a dozen or so a year
but as the fault says no output from tacho you are left with either the motor
turning with the high speed burst and genuinely not giving any tacho output (magnet broken, open circuit coil etc.)or failing to run, this of course can be due to module relays/track or wiring.
The harness plug itself, motor socket or the worst and hardest to prove is the motor t.o.c.opening
I don’t think I would be going down the insulation failure route as in my experience this gives rise to E51 motor triac sort circuit
so it sounds like a duff motor in that machine after all
and I don’t think you can reprogram that board

hiya just for info I have had 3 or 4 intermitant E52’s which turned out to be cracked solder joints on the motor relays in the module.when it is on the coil joints there are no signs of burning so use a mag glass to find them.

you may be lucky if it has unclipped from the door
but it does come with the module!
