Re: Ignis AKL 827/WH temp light never goes off

1st the thermostat sounds as if needs renewing if you can turn it beyond 0deg backwards
2nd when the temp light is on the elements (2) should heat up
one is at the top of the oven cavity and the second, which is the usual suspect for failure,is under the base of the cavity-after a couple of minutes of being switched on you should feel the floor warming

if you open the door and put your hand inside upwards and to the front you should feel it ,tou may like to use a mirror to see it then you will see why you need to be able to stand on tour head to access it-good luck

Re: Ignis AKL 827/WH temp light never goes off

Am I correct in saying this light is a temp light and something is up with the oven for it to always stay on when the oven is turned on and not go out when the temp has been reached?

i think you are correct as the lamp is conected to the elements when oven is switced on

I’m not sure on this one. I couldn’t find a way of doing it

hold start/pause plus nearest option button whilst turning machine on 1 place clockwise then when in diagnostics read alarm from position 10 of selector
