Re: changover a new double oven

Martin, In answer to your question there is no rating plate on this oven, but I beleive it rated around 5400 watts = 22.5 amps. on my calculations I also reckoned this would require a radial circuit, but as stated I advised the customer to check with there sparks to look into running a new circuit circuit, if required, I must admit I was surprised of the outcome.!!

I advised them to call in a sparks who they know, which they did and he as confirmed its ok to use this spur off the ring main, and a 2.5mm cable to feed the oven.

Bob, thanks for reply I am a bit lost myself with this one. re- the diagram / the neg grey cable that feeds the clock, there is a spade connector about 4 inches from clock..(appears to fit to selector) but can see that on diagram

Re: Elba PX906 S/N 10209 dual fuel range cooker

Bob, received diagram thanks, sorry to keep on, but on my one, the negitive that has a direct feed to the clock, has a
spade connector fitted in line, that feeds someting else, which I presume must go to selector !! as there is no other place to connect to..but not shown on diagram !!

Re: Siemens Double Oven – Fan not Running but oven heating

you will need to take wires off fan..check supply on each cable I suspect one will have power either pos or a neg..then u will be able to tell which one isnt feeding the fan & will know if its the pcb or selector.
Also I think you may find that the negitive feed links both the heater & fan (check 1st)
