I have had two great intergrated episodes this week alone.First one built in dishwasher with about 30 wires in front of it all going off to LEDS built into plinth all round kitchen.Inform customer of problem. His words it will be alright so carefuly remove machine off wood over wires great I thought. No when refitting it I catch a couple of wires and they brake spend 30 mins fishing wires from behind machine and splicing them back together. The second carry on.Lift up builtin washer over raised tiles and crack, the tile broke. The tiler had only cemented half the tile so the weight of the machine snaped the tile where there was no cement.Happy days … 😳

Hi leaveme, I was in no way having a dig at your ingenuity. In fact I like your pragmatic approch to what could become a common problem.I feel it is one thing to try to repair a tub damaged before you arrive another to start cutting holes in the tub.I have had varying success trying to repair damaged tubs .Maybe Im doing somthing wrong .I would be greatful to learn your tried and trusted technique. 😉

Sounds drastic.!!!!!!!One step to far for me cutting holes in the drum and then hoping to reseal it.If it is stuck at the back between drum and tub its going to be abit of a mare.I think your best bet is heater out and try and fish it out with some wire .If you carnt get it out without damaging it and it is a sealed tub tell them to give hotpoint a ring or its ber. 😥

Squadman. This must of been a complete nightmare for you.I bet everyones worst nightmare. Not only are you aggrived of the none payment but as you say the more serious alligation of assualt and like you .My first reaction would be to get this woman to pay for her lies. But I think in reflection it was right to let it go.Because at the end of the day we dont want these sort of alligations hitting the local papers.I know this is not really the correct way or just way.But some people may think there is no smoke with out fire.I just think its something we should all learn from customers trying to get something for free .Especially those that play the guarentee card.Thankyou for sharing this with us.
