The RS components part for this is 211-2436. I fitted one and have had no trouble since. it cost £12

The temperature that the back [gauge] pressure relates to is the temperature that the refrigerant is boiling off at in the evaporator. If I understand your question correctly you can’t get the fridge to run at a different cabinet temperature by altering the quantity of the refrigerant charge. if the cabinet’s got a rating plate giving you the weight of refrigerant required the easiest way to charge the system is to go off that.,either by weighing or using the scale on a charging cylinder. If there’s no weight given, charge by watching for icing back down the suction line and then gradually let it out till the icing back disappears.

I’m not sure if leaving this off for half an hour is long enough to bring it back on. I had one of these in a basement that I thought was a low ambient problem but the mod bypassing the fridge thermistor cured it. I don’t recollect the interior light being on though. You don’t have to buy the mod kit; you can re-connect a couple of the wires behind the pcb using those blue insulated cable splice fittings but I can’t find my note of how to do it. I can prob find out though if you need to know.

Yes, 049913. But I think blocked pressure system is more likely. I look forward to hearing how you get on.
    Best of luck.

Wot? Pulling your leg that you’re a DASA member or that you’ll have done an IR test before working on the machinejavascript:emoticon(‘’)

Vorsprung durch technic ist nicht Bosch. Ich denke das Audi oder BMW ist.

Seriously though folks have you checked operation of the pressure switch and checked the pressure chamber/tube for blockage? If the pressure switch level 1 doesn’t open it won’t spin.
Also I have been told by a friendly Bosch engineer that any reduction in insulation resistance on the machine can cause weird faults. If you’re a DASA member you will of course have done an IR test before working on the machine but it may be worth checking the motor again & cleaning the carbon dust out of it if any. My Bosch friend reckons that if it isn’t any of these straightforward things it’ll be the timer and unlikely to be the boards as the top board is for motor speed control only and wouldn’t cause it to rapid-advance through spin.
    Hope this helps.

Have you checked the pressure chamber/hose isn’t clogged?

Copy in post today; I don’t have a scanner. Haven’t got a clue what’s wrong but I’d check the continuity across the armature & motor brushes first. faults on these machines are usually something simple like that rather than timer or modules going wrong by themselves. Also chech heater insulation resistance. Geoff

    Hi Martin,
I’ve got the test program info that you want. I’ve not been able to email it but have printed it out and can fax it if you email me your fax no.

    Re: Zanussi WJS1265W Not drying

    Hi,
On Wednesday I’m hoping to aquire from a friend a pcb for these machine with a ‘not draining’ fault. I’m going to substitute it for the board in the machine I’ve got with a ‘no fill’ fault to test my board. if you’re still stumped then you’re welcome to borrow this spare board to see if it helps with your diagnosis.
