Jolly good. Looking forward to it and the Indian restaurant in particular. I trust you checked that one can have three helpings of dessert there, if one happened to be so inclined….

Re: Fixed labour fee ,fitting parts supplied by customer ?

If you’ve already charged the customer for fitting it, you have an obligation to either fit it or refund them. As you haven’t supplied the part you can’t possibly warrant that it will work or guarantee it, and should get their acceptance of this before you attend. Write ‘Fitted customer’s own part at their request. No guarantee.’ on the receipt, get them to sign it and you have nothing to worry about.

    Thanks Seamy,

No, I’d taken the grill tray pack out. The smoke was from the cooking vents at the front, not inside the cavities. I went back yesterday and left it on max for 30mins or so; the smoke disappeared and the smell seemed to have reduced, so I told them to see how it goes over the next few days. My clothes smelt of it when I got outside though. I’ve never had this with a new oven before; as you say, a bit of smoke from the elements for a few minutes and that’s it.

Thanks for that Martin; I think I’m losing the plot. That was meant to be sent to Ken’s email address.
Ken: please don’t change it to Roly16. I’ll change it to something else.

    Ken,

I’ve tried to change my password without success. Please would you change it for me to Roly16 with a capital R. This is a temporary change; I’ll be asking you to change it again in a few days.

    Thanks.

Perhaps this is a topic that could be discussed on Friday.

Six machines just under two months old, three Hotpoint Aqualtis washers and three Aqualtis dryers

As time goes on you’ll be there every couple of weeks Jim. You won’t be able to fit the cruises in in between 😀

    Hi Eddie,
Yes it could be the drain pump working some of the time and vibrating like they do some of the time. It does drain but when the programme aborts it’s full.
    Thanks.

    Sorry,

It’s not error code 3, it’s error code 0E or OE.

An excellent resume. We could do with their reviewer writing up every meeting….. 😀
