Re: Miele Ireland – New spare parts policy

“miele service partners” are the network of approved non miele staff …. if you have been doing miele proffessional for a while it could be worth contacting miele direct to see if you could get accreditation….. as miele tend to use agent more for the commercial work than for the domestics…
also get access to the techincal documents too….which helps

reading the last few pages i am glad i went back to the commercial machine market…. the customer realizes you are the person with the knowhow… and all you collect is signatures as the office do all the paperwork

float in base activated… check for a leak from the solonoid on the water intake chamber… they dri just enough to activate the switch, but by the time you arrive all is well again

check the lower ezl101 board along its bottom edge… its quite often that any moisture in the cabinet collects there… if not that or an obvious dry joint it will be the lower board that needs replacing

    Re: Miele T5213 Finish Light

not on a t5213… as these are a clockwork timer… they still have the slip rings for sensing, but will still do at least a 5 min cycle….
sounds like the start relay is not locking in… or one of the microswitches on the door lock is not correctly actuating…
the relay is the one just next to the push button switch once the panel is open….
might be time for a replacement as these machines are at least 15 years old by now

pull drawer out, remove basket and the drain pump/circ pump is in the base…. turn whole thing 90deg and the assembly comes out, check for glass/other debris in the pump as one pump does everything

if it is one of the novotronic machines…it will most probably be the ezl101 board that sits behind the control pcb….relay locks out.

check and make sure the plug is not stuck to the rear of the machine… when it heats the plug pulls out the socket on the wall
