used to work for them as an engineer about 8 years ago… seem a good bunch, but they seem to have many more nationwide contracts then before as it was mainly just miele stuff in london back then 😀

no flow meter in these machines…..
did it heat up when it washed???…as sometimes you have to increase the inlet time from timed to level sensing… its quite common on the older machines as the valves get a bit tired…

its also worth checking there is no water in the pressure switch on the btotom left hand side ,as this affects the readings when the machine drains

Re: Miele W3240 – Too much detergent error.

its a fault miele are aware of, but can only be fully fixed by updating the firmware with a laptop…. what it does is to change the way the machine spins after the main wash…so it ramps in 200 rpm incraments instead of going straight to 600 rpm…. this stops any excess detergent causing the pressure sensor to activate as the drum pressure increases during the spin…..
it is also caused by a blockage in the venting system from the pump to the upper dispenser hose…as the drum also slightly pressurises during drain..

    Re: Miele G7859

f2e is water fill fault… the g7859 does not always have the same fill configuration between hot and cold,as it has both fill waterproofs on it… and it fills with different ones at different times ,but not always the same from cycle to cycle…..

i would suspect the cold fill waterproof is failing,as the machine is predominantly hot fill at the beginning of the cycle…..
f2e is shown if the required level is not reached after 5 mins..

a flashing rinse light means no,or incorrect tacho signal from motor…. suspect bruses… or loose connection at lower electronic board

possibly duff drain pump…..should drain at beginning of cycle, but if pump has leaked into base it may have also seized

no signal from motor tacho…so brushes would be the best bet

f14… heater level switch not actuating when circ pump running…. check the main pump for debris…most possibly clingfilm

f26= flooded base… either the drain pump…or the ring holding the inlet chamber on the right hand side of the cabinet inside is loose

flooded base….. probably either a torn door seal or a leaking pump…..
get the front cabinet open and it will be obvious where it is situated

Re: Miele Professional Dishwasher Mod. G7859

out of curiosity ,if you were to switch off at the wall and on while holding down b and c (a=top c=bottom b=middle)does it go into programming mode??? its been known for the live on the on-off button to weld shut, causing the main control board to only switch neutral….
what hapens if you switch on holding down a & b… if it says s21 in the display ,sounds silly but it may be easier to remove the facia panel and push the buttons without it in place,as if the contact is not great when you turn the power on it will not regester the buttons being pressed

make sure the dial is at the 12 o clock position when switching on…. once you get to the salt level feature set it to 19… this is the right setting unless there is a built in softener on site..then 16 is your best bet

dumb question…. did you pop the brushes back onto the armature???.. might be worth continuity checking the wires from the board to the motor
