Re: How to use universal thermostat connections

The thermostat is still available from AWS /
Hygena diplomat spares same company online.

Or you can try the Whitegoods shop on here you may find it cheaper

    Price approx £75 to £80

But as this is a duel fuel cooker you should have someone gas safe registered to fit it

The s shape is the pre cooling tank for the water dispenser.
Try turning off the water supply to see if the leak stops.

You will need a refrigeration engineer

Try find an engineer on this site for an engineer near you

The most likely fault is the defrost heater and it will need replacing

Yes right on both the sealant and the drain.

The sensor will be under the melted sealant top left hand corner

Make sure the drain hole at the bottom is clear before re assembling as it may have blocked up with sealant

    Re: Diplomat APM6855 leaking water

Looking at the picture the sealant has melted onto the no frost sensor.

The sensor is the old type flat sensor and will need to be replaced with the newer type round sensor.

Make sure the mains lead is disconnected when replacing as this sensor is live even if is turned off on the control panel.

Then you need to reseal the hole with the sealant or plumbers mate sealant .

Look on this site find an engineer to get a estimate from an engineer near you.

    What area do you live.

In most cases it can be repaired without removing it from the cabinet.

    Re: Diplomat APM6855 leaking water

The defrost heater will have lifted up from the drain so it is not defrosting the drain.

You may also need a no frost evaporator sensor replaced.

You will need an engineer to test and repair.

If the no frost sensor is the flat type sensor it will need replacing with the newer round type sensor.
