Yep. it has three tag but has a block connector which would not allow you to connect up the wrong tags.

Check to see if she is using one of those clip on freshners or the top basket is in the correct position. If the water is spraying up and the door is open the tablet should be able to drop out! Also depends on the way the customer is loading the unit. Big dinner plates can obstruct the tablet.

The unit I have been out to was in storage for five years and has never been used. As I live in Rep of Ireland I have never heard of EMW although I have heard there was a company in the UK that did this. Thanks for all the help.

If the clothes are hot but not dry it could be the dryer fan is faulty or jammed.

The one thing I did notice was it rotates one direction, I hear the click as if it’s going too rotate again but nothing happens. So it does appear to be only rotating one direction. So is it.. A. Tacho
    B. Motor
    C. PCB
    D. Heater
    E. None of the above.
Won’t get back to this unit til Monday as they’re away. So going back fully armed!! Thanks for the replys lads..

    Re: bosch washer fault

Would the answer be as simple as a “start” button sticking?. Have come across something similar with a different brand.

E50,motor fault. Can you access diagnostics to reveal the code which should tell you pcb or motor. At a guess it would be the triac on the board blown.

Very good, doesn’t look as if the seal on the gearbox is a spare part. Full job.

    Thanks for all the help.

    Re: Whirlpool top loader

Here I am again!!! I have three of these units with leaking gear boxes! Customers have donated them to me so I am thinking of fixing them and selling them on.So the questions are…. 1. Can the seal be replaced on the gear box ( has anyone tried this?)
    2. Price for a new gear box, Checked on sios and they are expensive. Does anyone stock them?
    3. Should I just walk away at this stage??? ( I’m not that kinda chap but will look forward to the replies 😆

    Cheers….
