in other words ariston is crap *No offence intended* and the above guy is implying that you bought the machine because you thought a cheap machine will do you because you only do 1 wash a week or something never pay for a call out for an ariston the parts for ariston probably cost more than what you have paid for the machine

Bosch Exxcel WVD24520GB Washer Dryer all you would need to do is feel for the on off button and the start button they are in a declining line of 4 buttons very easy to use

drain pumps are at the front right 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time disconnect the float switch on the base and see what happens then not sure if you know but you can unclip the base with a flat head if you tilt it back if it still does nothing when you unplug the float switch your drain pump is dead or your pcb is corrupt/blow or is the incorrect pcb is you have just replaced it

Re: smeg dishwasher not finishing program

does it pump out constantly and then beep beep beep? im suspecting water in the base or a faulty circ pump or o rings are leaking on the air break first thing i would do is take the pinth off and the metal plinth behind that off and have a look with a torch for water make sure you turn the machine off first

count the blinks and you will get a longer pause of the blinking being off for example:

blink on blink off blink on blink off *1second 2seconds 3seconds* starts blinking again

also try and reset the dishwasher

Switch the dishwasher on and press the programme button 4 times, within 3 seconds.

1st and 5th lamps should light Note:You may have to do this several times before it works

    switch off
    count to 10,
    switch on
    run the rinse programme only

IT IS ALSO POSSIBLE YOU HAVE THE WRONG PCB IN THE MACHINE IF FOR EXAMPLE YOU HAVE THE JANUARY 2009 MODEL AND SMEG CHANGED THE MODEL IN MID 2009 THEY MAY HAVE CHANGED THE PCB THE MACHINE MAY LOOK THE SAME HAVE THE SAME MODEL NUMBER BUT PARTS ARE DIFFERENT
