I agree totally with Andy and would like to add my appreciation for the behind the scenes work that is carried out on our behalf.

Had a few of these baked in screws plus on various other makes, the only option is to drill them out as Gertrude says. Good luck.

Does this model have 5 lights, that is one above each programme option?. I have module reset procedure for this type which says that the flow sensor is faulty (NOW GET THIS) even though there may not be a flow sensor fitted.
Had one a while back did a reset and cured problem, why the fault occurs factory coudn’t say.

Happy to PM this to you.

    Re: Servis w/m door/interlock prob

Went to my Sat call had new lock and handle kit just incase, decided to try the tip from Deltra so removed the outer door trim only, closed door and hey presto machine works. Put outer door trim back on and problem returns. The trim is very thin and would do as a Rolf Harris wobble board, you can see it actually move and warp as you close the door and must hamper proper connection.

Removed trim again and yes it works, as the machine is in a utility room
customer is happy as long as it works and I can see no unsafe aspect with this solution. Customer admitted that under guarantee she called engineer out from Servis who after some deliberation said he did not know what the problem was and then left.

Went out to-day to my other Servis as mentioned at start of this enqurie and carried out same routine and again it worked.

Thanks to all for your input.

Hi One of my customers has one of these t/tubs plastic body sort of blue and white in colour no heater and no wheels made in China and from Thmpsons.
She asked if I could fit wheels on which was no prob and she seems happy with the product. Paid just over £300 delivered from a dealer advertising in paper.

    Re: Indesit Franchise

Thanks Kevin for your input, I should point out that at the end of my conversation with Mr Indesit I had made my mind up that this was not for me.

The offer of sharing this information was that others may know what was in store should they be approached and I agree with you why pay someone to work for them. The long term outlook in my case is that I would be busy doing Indesit UK work and loose my good existing client base then they would have me by the washba**s.

    Re: Servicepower

Re my earlier post, have now been paid. As I live in the glens of Scotland this was a round trip of 64 miles though I fitted in a few other jobs on the way. I charged Servicepower £43:00 for what was a 15 min visit in which the customer had knifed to death her freezer when chipping the ice off. Anyone who is interested in contacting servicepower here is the e-mail.
