Always ask customer if they want a sticker and all are happy to oblige, can go back to a customer years later and there it is worn and faded but thats where they got my number to call me again so it works.

Going around a customers other appliances or rooms is definately a no no.

    Re: Hoover Vision Mod HJ16

Went out today to this machine, the kind with the pot belly.

As customer reported on/off has sunk back through panel and wont switch on.

Took top off and can see PCB that this button would activate, as the board retails about £150 and keeping in mind this has a five year parts warranty did not venture further in case of invalidating said warranty.

Any info would be a help before I suggest to customer she contact Hoover.

    Re: Embarrased or what

A few years ago was ushered into customers house, through the hall into the living room making for the kitchen.
To my left I see this figure standing on the back of a settee, bald head, white shirt, trousers showing the builders bum.

Turning to the lady who ushered me in I said ” I see you’ve got your man cleaning the windows”, the lady says thats my sister.

    Hi Penguin,

Yes it does, I have fitted these before, but had never come across this clicking noise from behind control panel.

Do I take it that you are hinting that ciculation pump is the problem?.

Re: Fiber Glass Matting Repairs to Plastic Outer Tubs?

I use Tub Repair Epoxy from Qualtex part No MIS86 and have used this on many plastic outer tubs also on twin tub metal drums with success every time.

    Hi Jim,
Check out web sites for Denon products, very good write ups in Hi Fi mags. I have a home cinima set up with a Denon ADV500-SV cost about £500 18 months ago. Very nice unit with real wood finish to speakers and all wood sub woofer, this is all hooked up to a digital projector giving me an 8ft wide x 4ft cinema picture just watched the latest Bond movie ….brilliant.
    Hope this helps,
