Yes when fridge door is opened Evap fan will stop. If compressor is running is there cold in the freezer? (unless defrost heater is on!)

So with parts replaced same fault as before. Its the first thing i would have replaced as you can see by the threads if you search for mistral. Yours is unfortunate. But a nice fridge freezer all the same. I would agree wth Penguin 45 about trying the exchange board route.

Have you still got the old sensors and what was the original problem?

Re: Whirlpool AWZ650 Blowing cold air

If the connectors on the wiring terminals were burnt or a loose fit, heat will be generated by arcing as the wires carry the full current to the heating elements. The wires will have to be remade with sound clean connections. Check out http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/search/fi … ineer.html for an engineer in your area.
    Unplug power before checking.

Have removed hose from 90 degree elbow end that fits into pump assembly with intention of shortening it but it needs the full drain hose that takes the o ring. The question is if i order hose does it have 90 degree end with clip?

I have searched high and low for the other clip. Thought rat had run off with it. Looks dodgy with just the o ring holding it in under pressure of drain pump.

Did a tip run on the weekend and noticed that the scrap metal men had lots of WMA’s and W103’s ready to load onto wagon.

Can anybody help me out by supplying me urgently with some hose clips for a CDA 494/1 (whirlpool) dishwasher circulation pump. Worm drive clips are 47mm (4819 401 18174) and the other size is 33.5 mm (2 off) but i dont know the part number of the smaller one.

    Many thanks

Re: Hotpoint Ultima 1200 WD71 – series of problems

Just an opening low into drum. unless there is water in there there should be not much resistance. However disconnecting tube (with machine unplugged) should cause machine to fill/spin.

Re: Hotpoint Ultima 1200 WD71 – series of problems

Sounds like the pressure vessel has blocked up with gunk. Therefore making pressure switch stick. Machine will think it has water in it when it hasnt. Therefore no spin or fill. Common if not many boil washes are carried out. Unplug first if you are going to look yourself.
