    Had a good one with a servis. The vent hose after the U bend on the soap dispenser to drum hose was clogged causing the air displaced not to go anywhere. When it filled all the water went on the floor. Dont know if your machine has this though. Maybe engineer time.

    Oh dear went to fit timer(thought it was cheap) and supplier has ordered incorrect one. Can anybody give me correct price of new timer with the control unit on this washer dryer. It is not 1247050014.

    If the pressure switch has been arcing and the contacts getting hot the plastic adjusting screw may have been melted to a short mushroom. Adjustment is only temporary in this case.

    Cheers P but i think i will replace with new. Not that expensive and customer is willing to pay for the pig of a job it is to get the machine out. You know the one plinth boards siliconed in etc

    Symptoms of evaporator thermistor is fridge reads 19 degrees, food is frozen solid at bottom of freezer but soft at top. All because the evaporator fan is not running. Check light goes out when door is closed as if door has dropped and light does not go out fan will also not run.

    If it is a conventional fridge(larder) there will be problems with it. However fridge with ice box(no auto defrost) should be o.k. The problem is with the fridge defrost function it has to get warm (ice turned to water)on the back wall before it will kick into life again. If the environment is too cold the compressor will not switch on therefore freezer will defrost as sensing is done in the fridge compartment.

    Freezer only will work in garage.

    If it is a fridge freezer then it will not work properly in an environment under 15 degrees.

    Does this mean i will be applying for a job at the local supermarket next year? This job is hard enough as it is.
