ParticipantRe: Zanussi Aquacycle 1400 & Condenser Dryer TC 7114
My aquacycle (FLE1115W 1100 spin) takes about two hours to complete a wash. It is cold fill only and the time sounds about right. A 95 degree wash is even longer. Check the door glass during the 40 degree wash. It should just be warm.

Been down to local supplier to see exploded view to clarify. Shown on electrolux website it appears that the insert that slides onto shaft is no longer available? is this the case with yours Chris?

Chris, do you know if the disc with the symbols on comes complete/attached with the bush that slides onto the shaft? What i mean is its not just a piece of paper?

Best dryer is the simplest. Vented. Less components hence less to go wrong. Sensor dry models are available. Condensor dryers recirculate the same air so drying times can be longer.
As long as the correct heat setting is used there should be no problems.
Do not extend the vent hose. It will cause problems with dryer. and do not use a suction fan. It is not intended to work with one.December 2, 2004 at 8:30 pm in reply to: Hotpint Condenser Dryer TC71 Cutting Out after a 10 seconds #120827Simon46

Dont forget label or make a note of which wires go where, after pulling the mains plug of course!

The fault on this unit is the relay that holds the dryer on until the door is opened or the power is turned off. Labelled Schrack. If you wish to take a look remove the Mains plug from the socket first.

Thanks Dave. Forgot they were there. Hopefully in with a chance of blockage/drain pump fault.

Also on some of newbuild estates, parking of a commercial vehicle is not allowed without permission of the builders of the house!
