I did inspect loom covered in duct tape. Maybe it had a nick in a wire then it got wet?

Ive had one of these which a previous engineer had taped up the wiring loom. Passed insulation test but when washing then failed. Pump heater ok. Condensation was getting into wiring and there were stains from the soap dispenser down the inside of the door. Cust decided to replace it so never got to the bottom of it.

Had glass in one of the plastic base bosch dishwashers and wasnt emptying. Unclipped drain pump cover ran my fat cable tie round impeller chamber. Could not get it. Pulled the mushroom up with cover off and it flicked out. Job done.

Ive laid a machine down on its side and had fabric coditioner all over pcb before. Now I always check the drawer.

Well that was brilliant. Should have bought one 17 years ago. Sucked water out of drain hose then it ran into bowl by itself by syphon action. Finally opened filter slightly with crevice tool at base of filter and baking tray under machine to get the final bit of water out. So much faster than bowls and towels. My mum has bought one to vac the front lawn (astroturf)
