Either the capillary end isnt contacting the evaporator or the wiring is wrong. Look under the lid at the front model number may be there.
Unplug power if you are going in.

Think i will try the loom option tomorrow from BSH. If one or two wires were broken then ferrules/butts it would be. Would like to do the proper repair on this one with so many gone.

Yes thanks John. This selector switch is white not brown and the barrel has no half moon shape for the stat shaft to fit in it even if i was to xfer old stat over.

Just received 481228208648 thermostat and selector switch from masterpart from whirlpool italy. In the bag is a selector switch with the label 481227618416 and no thermostat with it :rolls: . Looked it up on masterpart no items came up.
Can anybody confirm on the sios disc if the part fits this model number?
Including Vat have spent 213.86 on switches up to now.
