it works fine other than the heating issue it has an led display i thought it might flag a fault code but nothing shows after the wash cycle , customer sayes it stopped working so a friend of a friend had a look and replaced the cap ? cant get anymore info than that , that would be great if you could send on the info cheers Dave, pm sent

cheers dave , it went with a bang alright , water drops on the motor sent current back the way it came i think , blew about 3 inches of track also is there any way of knowing if the ic’s are gone ?

hi guys 6yr old integrated f/f condenser coils are clear but comp . is v. hot freezer cold enough -18 but fridge is +12 i dont see a defrost element and there are a few wires going to the thermostat housing which has a pcb controlling the cooling there is a sensor about 4 inches from the bottom of the fridge in a little compartment , but no way to refit it as its wired through the wall any info appreciated thx

yeah its a bit different here , you either need to be a plumber with an rgii cert and you can jump into the domestic appliance serviceing or you start from scratch like me and do the 3 steps installer course , fault finding and domestic appliances ,this would be a fast track method less than 6 months but at a cost of around 3,500 euro , other than that its college for 2 or 3 yrs . i’m not going to go further as the laws here are getting tight plus i dont want to endanger myself and others cheers mate

in a word jeremy no , i have done a 6 day course which to be honest wasnt great , gas installation GID its called here , it cost me 850 euro!! and now i really need a domestic gas appliance repair and serviceing course . i have done 2 jobs on gas cookers since the start of the year ! it hasnt paid off and i am not going to spend 1500 euro !! that i dont have to do the domestic appliance course that lasts about a week or so , i mean what can you learn in a week ? can you say rip off republic !

test worked for me did go through 07 to 02 and then kept flashing alternating between 02 and 00 for about a minute and then went on to 01 and 00 for another minute or two before i ended the test . what does this tell you ? thanks

i dont know age of m/c s/n is 110802 001987 , i have an earlier tech sheet for the sbs models which sayes fix the emmiter flap in the closed pos. close the door switch ice maker on , within 60 sec. openn the door , hold light sw in closed pos. switch ice maker on , and listen to reciver led output code , i tried this it did not work , if i had tech sheet i would be able to figure it but it seems hard to get info on the whirlpool stuff !!
