Have you checked the wash motor.
If it is filling then appearing to do nothing this could be the wash motor stuck or capacitor blown.

    Hi
I just completed my F Gas training and am working on the City and Guilds element that will be mandatory to hold next year.

I didn’t realise until I was on the course that F Gas is not required for small domestic systems as the quantity of refrigerant the system holds is below the required limit, and of course R600a doesn’t apply anyway.

A word of caution though R600a is explosive so do not start brazing on a system until you have followed the correct procedure for evacuating and purging the system.

    Hi Tom
Do you put the machine through a 90deg wash once a month? Pref with a steriliser / de-scaler.

Because we wash at 30 and 40 deg, these temps aren’t hot enough to kill the bacteria that grows in the machine or dissolve the grease that comes off your cloths. This builds up behind the tub and eventually will come through in the form of spotting.

The other cause could be grease from the bearings, are they getting noisy on a spin?

    Re: PAT Testing Question

You could use a laptop as an example; it needs to be tested but is by nature moved around. Because of the fact that you are subjecting it to more risk than say a desktop computer, you may wish to have it tested every 6 months. Part of a PAT is a visual inspection and it would be a good Idea to do this every time it is plugged in. The HSE don’t set down frequency guidelines as nature of use has a bearing on risk. It is the owners responsibility to determine a reasonable period between tests.

    Re: Bosch dishwasher free call?????

    Hi Guys
My first time on the Forum
I was called out to a Neff S5943x2GB/24 intagrated dishwasher. The board had done the same thing so replaced and working fine.
I contacted BSH and was told that even though there is recalls on some models this one is not included!!!!!
    Same fault so why not?
