    And the point is…

Now what would be useful is if we, the engineer, could log in to an appliance and access it’s recorded error messages. Would cut out some of the misinformation customers give us.

Candy S95 Oven door wont stay closed

Have you had the door off?
If it is seated correctly and the plate the hinge locates into is ok then a set of hinges will cure your problem

Have you considered selling her the base Amica. AWB510L and if anything should fail you get to service it. Portway or Swift sell them.

    Hotpoint BF1620

Might be worth taking the pump off and examine it for signs of wear, they can jam when worn.

    Rejected Claims

I to have had two invoice rejected for Baumatic jobs. Both are in static caravans so can’t get back into them until owners come back in summer. Both serial numbers are correct and the same length so no missing numbers. I asked what format they where looking for but to date haven’t been told.

    Website advice.

If you just want something simple and free set up a google account, log in, go to business solutions and in there some where in there you should find web site design that’s free, also set up a google places page that can be pointed at the site. I get most of my work from this and yell.com. This year I have only gone for the £66 line ad in yellow pages.

Have you been able to test voltage after it cuts out. Is power still flowing to the machine past suppressor and to switch?

Re: *** Feb Whitegoods Conference ***

    Hi Guys
Could I just say how much I enjoyed the conference on Friday. It was my first one and found it very helpful. I was hoping to network a little and make contacts with organisations that take on independent engineers on a contract basis. I met those with stalls but unfortunately wasn’t able to make contact with others that where there. None the less, very helpful, keep up the good work.
