The manufacturer’s warranty offered is an excellent selling point but I don’t know how they’d go about getting a repair network off the ground, and again, whether customers would have confidence in that.

I also don’t think they got the brand or marketing right….but’s it’s probably a hard slog getting anything of this scale off the ground.

I do repairs for them signed up with them in end of 2019 good to do work for Supplied all spare upfront , did tell them to talk to UKwhitegoods, they did try talking to some one At UKwhitegoods in2019, But I understand but didn’t get a very good response I did Ask at the time who they talked to but didn’t say the name

I’m just really looking for general pointers on what features people are looking for so I can avoid the pitfalls of making this too tailored for us to be useful to other businesses.

I see accounting support is high on the list with you. Now HMRC has gone digital everyone is on Xero, Sage or Quickbooks so it seems a must to have some sort of support for this. We’re on Xero but at the moment I just have my account ‘journal’ the sales ledger in every quarter rather than track every single invoice in Xero. I’ll have a look in to the APIs that would enable automation of this process.

Look at linking to FreeAgent accounts its run by NatWest and RBS, http://fre.ag/4866v2bu

I ask customers to leave hand soap and kitchen role by an empty sink so I can wash my hands when I enter. I ask that they distance themselves from me as much as possible. I use sanitising gel before I enter and when I leave. I wipe own surfaces that I may have touched while in the property before leaving and advise the customer to do the same when I have left.

Ray.t, I’d be interested to know what guidelines Whirlpool or other companies are giving their engineers?

Remember most Domestic Appliances knower days don’t have hot fill, so if its an old machine check the back to see if its got 1 or 2 inlet pipes, if its only got 1 then your boiler will not start up
