If I can I will where it’s UKW/ISE/internet etc related but the other guys can also do some things as well if needed.
Oh and can we keep it to sensible suggestions please? ๐

I have just got off the phone wth John and just to say he has been on holiday for 2 weeks and just got back!
He will be emailing everyone shortly who has had issues but he has asked me to apologize for the misunderstanding.
As per Lawrences post he said please just give him a call.If anyone has had any charges applies to the account then send him your details with the amounts and he is going to speak to the admin manager and try and get it refunded.
Hopefully a result.

Morning Guys
Had a response back from Elavon and as thought this is a penalty charge for non compliance! ๐ก
Dear Steven,
Thank you for your email.
Please see the section on PCI Charges from page six of the contract that the merchant signed. (this is the standard contract that all your members have signed)
The fee that has been charged is not an annual fee, it is a penalty fee. The reason the merchant has been charged a PCI Non Compliance Fee is that after 90 days they have not completed the PCI Compliance Process as per contract below. They need to register and complete the appropriate online questionnaire, either with Trustwave or with another provider.
To register with Trustwave the merchant will need to go to http://www.elavon.com/pci and select โVerify Complianceโ and then โRegister and Become Compliantโ. This will lead them through a series of questions and eventually they will be issued a certificate if they have answered correctly. If they do run into any difficulties please ask them to call Trustwave directly on Free Phone 0800 917 8986.
As thought like the rest of you, I belived this to have been sorted by Payzone, He said they would handle everything :rolls:
Unless John is on holiday he is ingnoring all my communications which TBH does not look good for thier customer services!
just registerd fairly straight forward only took 10 mins, got certificate now ๐
Sorry about the mix up, hopefully John will have the courtesy to get in touch at some point โ
I hope this has answered some of the questions, but get registered as poppins said only takes minutes ๐Steven

I have emailed Elavon today with my own PCI fees complaint!
Will let you know if I get a responseI have just pulled out my paper work and have come across the welcome letter!!
Probably like many did not read the important information about PCI DSS compliance! :rolls:
The need to register or you end up being charged for non compliance fees ๐กI think like the rest of you we were told it would all be handled by John all we had to do was sign away and sit back and they will do the rest.
I did just try and register but it wont accept the name, then I tried to go through and upload a PCI certificate that I had previously done with another merchant, that did not work either! Sure we will get it sorted ๐

Sorry guys been away, I have chased again this morning so will let you know when I have something to report.
In the mean time I suggest you send an email to John Morris as I have no other contact yet, with your wta number and company info stating the error on the pci rate and request a refund.

The problem with this is that some guys did turn up last minute at the meet in Feb and we registered them manually. If they made an effort to travel all that way and say sorry no entry!
Do we want to turn away prospective members? We know who not to let in, so is this just for his benefit ๐

Just refuse it, we are not going through all that shit again.
He has been given too many chances in the past!
He does not get back in that easy can a leopard change it’s spots?
Send the application back, keep the money as that can come off what he owes.My vote is no!

Got a call yesterday about the PCI Compliance, chap came today, I signed the paperwork and we get PCI Compliance along with the certification etc.
Easy as pie and a whole heap easier than a certain other provider we use. ๐
K.
Ken, just been mulling over the paper work and notice that payzone do charge for this.
PCI compliance service fee (annual) scan ยฃ100 /SAQ ยฃ30
Non compliance charge ยฃ17 per month
Adminstration ยฃ20 a year.Damned if you do and damned if you dont who ever you use.
All I see is banks making money here, not about protecting the consumer! :rolls:
