I have just come across this card reader from payleven,/ intuit.
Charge £89 +vat one off for card reader and charge 2.75{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} across the board.
No monthly fees so could be ideal for those who don’t take many cards.

Works with iPhone / android. Only had a quick read of it but may be of use?

I thought we did change the membership application having an opt out tick box so we could send info or allow to use members details for benefits info?

George, in regards to offering to general forum to entice more members I though the insurer was going to offer an incentive that the savings made would be more than equivalent to membership fee. Thing is then this wont be a member benefit if its open to all, unless they have 2 prices a good deal and an exclusive deal?
Sorry if I missed what they were offering when you had the meeting with them.

    Hi Guys,

Found this thread and thought you may be assist?

Had same fault,AQGMD149 machine door locked and running but door open 😯
On inspection found terminal block burnt out and two brown cables shorted.

The door lock required is c00264161 but need the terminal block for wiring unless I can get away tags.
found C00264535 with a wiring kit but it has block 2 extra terminal.
Any know if the door lock would still work without this other connection used ❓

    IMO Charge for stand!

If they plan to sell on the day then its up to them to push and sell and they will recoop that fee!

Also they will have had all names and details of members which they could mail shot directly next time, so if you dont charge then the chance is they wont return next time as they have already thier marketing list and wont need too come.

Also it keeps it the same easier for T to invoice.
You will have one saying I been the last few times and had to pay every time etc…. not worth agro.

Clothing is difficult to do as everyone logo etc will be charged for as initial set up costs.
So unless they dont charge for this service then may as well deal with your own local companies and TBH you may get better deal with close to home any way.
No harm in inviting them if they are national see what they offer!

Yes they are ok to deal with pay on time have no issues.

The appliances are good you can make resonable mark up, 2 year warranty and you get the work!
The only problem is you may not get much, the appliances I have sold which are a fair few, only done a hand full of jobs!
I dont think anyone else is getting them or better not be 😆 😆 😉

They have been to the last 2 trade shows we’ve done! I guess they may be there again in Feb if invited.

    Re: Defra – Re-use forum

Its like most government bodies, Quango they are not generally intersted in talking or working with people on the outside.
As you say TA who is willing to work with them, they are thinking whats the catch!
So its great you have managed to get them on side guys, how diplomatic were you Ian that must have been difficult 😆

In most cases got thier head buried in the sand. They are usually just concerned with playing with figures, getting a wage for doing F all, wasting tax payers money and pleasing europe not necessarily in that order .

Great work guys, keep it up 😉
