Ring their sales line – they’ll hopefully be able to advise what’s holding the order up.

Veto Pro pac get a thumbs up from me – fantastic quality, really well thought out and a real time saver on the job. I’ve had the smaller LC version for well over 5 years – big enough for all the tools and meters I need for 95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of jobs.

One of the zips is starting to go, so I’ll be looking to buy another soon. The new wheeled version intrigues me, but in my opinion compromised by trying to double up as a back pack.

The planned direct debit was not taken today, so it looks like my account balance has been corrected.

ASWO’s direct debit facility is a great time saver – one click checkout, all orders consolidated into a single invoice at the end of the month, with payment taken 15 days later.

At last, after chasing for a second time, ASWO today refunded £400, equivalent to two of the three card payments taken two weeks ago. I just need to wait to see whether the £200 direct debit payment previously advised by ASWO for the 15th has been cancelled – ASWO have left me in the dark on that.

Apologies, thanks for stepping in Dave. Pretty inept of me not to include a link in my earlier post.

I’m sure it will be sorted one way or another. ‘ve emailed the rep who set me up on direct debit. I’ m guessing it will take a few days for their IT & accounts teams to work out what’s going wrong.

one good reason to use credit cards as it does not affect you while they sort it out

No it’s a business current account, the money has gone – gone!

Unfortunately not, 3 payments of £200 have already left my bank account. As things stand, my April statement states another £200 will be deducted on 15 May. I’m not hopeful this will be resolved any time soon.

electrofix wrote:had the same problem, it seems the payment problem is just a mastercard problem as i have a pending basket because of it. They said Visa was ok but I only have an Amex card and dont want to use my personal debit card

will recheck next week to see if problem has cleared. checking my CC account i see the money has been allocated its just not been finalised

    Dave

My car is Mastercard also (debit card). I suspect the money will leave your CC account tomorrow, but may not release your basket.

‘ve just received our first monthly invoice under the direct debit facility and it shows the £200 as still owing, due for direct debit on 15 April. So as things stand, it looks like my £200 order will cost us £800.

    Doug

ASWO are not always cheapest, but my shopping basket is cheaper than other distributors the majority of the time. I’ve only really tested tech info for brands I don’t have direct accounts with, but for those I’ve tried (eg LG, Samsung, Vestel), if I type the model number into the search box, up pops a link to a comprehensive pdf document. Customer service, eg in responding to problems or return requests generally beats all the others hands down.

A further update, all three payments were apparently successful after all and have been taken from our bank account. So the net result is we have paid £600 for our £200 order.

My original expectation was for delivery on 29 April, but with the delay in despatch and a further delay yesterday at my local DHL delivery station, delivery is now not expected until 4 April. I have had to postpone repairs for 4 customers until after the bank holiday – not impressed.

An update, ASWO sales have arranged a direct debit facility to enable my order to be released.

Their card processing issue still remains, so if you are paying by card, even if the payment is apparently successful, make sure your order transfers from the basket to Orders in Progress.

Likewise for me, first online order to Qualtex for 5 months from me on Monday, delivered next day by DPD.
