    Re: europart spares suppliers

    I admit to it
I have a order of several parts which I price up as a full order which each supplier inc p/p ete
Does not take long, and you would be supprised at the difference sometimes. postage does make it hard, seme/sali used to be great but there prices are not competative anymore.
I know the likes of connect hate this but as my old dad says”you can’t tell me they just buy from anyone willynilly”. They shop around to get the best discounts and arangements, they have clout and they use it.
They hate if we try to.

Re: Bearings on a hpt wt721

    Hi

Striped it all out & I guess its a welded tub as no srews can,t split the drum.
Only a slight rumble so only bearings needed. What a waiste this w/m is now scrap due to repair hike in cost & the fact that tubs are out of stock at hpt.
Quoted repair was £60 all in same day repair, But now it will be £160 & 1-2 weeks waiting with luck.
Customer is now buying a cheap beco because they are only £160 & her hpt only last her 13 months which cost her £320.
    I get nothing again.
May be time to give in and follow my last trade of tv repairs down the pan.
    Back to collage again?
But what to do this time?

Sorry for the delay been away
Yes this is the new official amount £400 a month or loose most of your discount. was also told £4’800 a year which is the same.
Just tryed to log in and still no go asked rep 3 times to get me back on, it seems if you ask for a discount they kick you out.
I oped a new acount with maddocks, prices seem good so i’ll try them for a while, although the stock is a bit hit & miss no hvr bearing kits 05-hv-20 or tub seals 31-hv-31 😯 .

    Re: Acount problems connect

    Hi
I was happy with connect (apart for a complete lack of return credit notes) The prices I used to get were very good with only a £50-£200 per month spend.
Since this new version 2 web site was launched they are sudenly alot dearer, all my other acounts want £30 for a hpt rear tub but connect want £38. hpt t/d stats are £8 when before they were £4.
Beware if you spend less than £400 a month they will remove your discounts to, they dont give a monkeys.
Problem is who in there right mind is going to pay their prices once they are increased, to get back on the over £400 p/m discounts.
I agree they have the best stock and I acept that I dont spend the same as some but My profit margins are bad enough and I already loose to much work to high quotes due to inflated spares costs.
I accept that I will have to pay extra for the spares no one else stocks but ill be ***** if they will get anything else from me.

    Re: Acount problems connect

    Just a quick update

My account is soon to be back on ( I hope )
But my prices will still be bad. 🙁
But I am wondering if my other accounts are just better, and I would like to take this oppertunity to thank them for their good service and It seems my future custom. Masterpart, qualtex, seme, all have prices that are competative for a sole trader which in the present climate and falling work loads is vital.

Thanks again to them & my custom will now go there way.
    😀 😀 😀
