    Got it! Commercial code 90145.

As mentioned, it could be something to do with ambient temperature so if its in a garage, shed or similar, you may be best advised to relocate it.

I don’t suppose you have the commercial code or 12NC?

These are not prone to burning out. Usually the bearing fails if anything. I wonder if there may be an issue with whatever is connected to it, I.e. selector. I assume it stops when it ought to?

On your 1st pic there is a corrugated pipe coming off the bottom of what you call the matrix. That is the pipe I am referring to.

Does the water come out of the clear pipe that comes out of the bottom of the regen dosage?

Mike, I would suggest that the board has failed. I have had numerous ones that have died for no apparent reason although you’d need to inspect the board visually to ensure nothing has blown & if it has you’d need to find what the blown area of the board controls. That said, I have had some where a low insulation dry heater could cause a dead display so you may want to disconnect the dry heater first.

    Hope this helps.

You can test the continuity of the heater circuit usually from the PCB. It’s usually tag A2 to C5 & you are looking for 25-30 Ohms. If you get that, PCB is faulty.

It’s because the white plastic plate that goes in front of the lock is worn. Depending on the lock, this is sometimes provided with the new lock.

I strongly suspect that the sump is blocked internally. This can be problematic to clear & sometimes the sump needs to be replaced.

The brushes should be checked but whilst the brushes are off, check the condition of the commutator (the copper bits that the brushes rest upon) as that may be damaged & if it is, a new motor would be needed unless anyone knows someone who does repairs to motors or sells reconditioned motors.

It might also be a motor tacho fault or even the main board.

So this is a frost free variety. I thought it might be. What is involved in accessing the heater & if found to be faulty, is changing it straightforward?

    Cheers.
