£50 or £70 trade for the motors depending on which one we agree on…
£60 labour ex VAT for 30 minutes work.
(£80 labour ex VAT for the integrated ones but still 30 minutes work)
No need to do any writing off.

Done loads of these just with the door panel off & then front panel.
Makes it a lot quicker especially on integrated versions.
The old motor just squeezes through at the right angle. The new motor comes with a thin jubilee clamp which can be tightened with a long thin screwdriver, if the the clamp is positioned to the left side of the sump.
The old motor can just be twisted off the hose, no undoing required!

Proportionally it will be in the repairers favour!
Even though I sell new machines my price will go up but so will John Lewis & AO.
    Bring on the repairs!

Maybe I’m not getting the Maths on this but most the spares I fit are bought at the £5 – £25 mark.
So 20{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} on that is still far better than 10 – 15{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} on a new machine price…
How do those percentages cancel each other out?

    Good luck.
If my prices go up I will blame you.

Part 755078 fitted to the slim lines.
It’s a baby version of the ones fitted to the full size.
    £49 from Connect.

Shame, less than £50 for a new heater/motor on these.

    Re: Bosch D/W no heat?

Most modern machines won’t show 230 volts if there is no load on component being tested. (Element open circuit)
That can then lead to a false diagnosis of a board fault.
I’m sure Jim is aware of that a reading of 25 – 40 ohms is about right for an element.
Knowing how sensitive the newer elements are I wouldn’t be surprised that opening the door caused it to fail.

Don’t want to state the obvious but are you sure there is water coming out of the cold supply valve for the dishwasher?

Could be the installer fitted the child lock kit.
There’s an arm to slide then the door just pulls open.

The ones I’ve done seem OK by just running a a normal cycle.

The two red wires are the heater connections, so should read as a normal heater. Generally though it will be open circuit if the element has gone.

The module lifts up & to the left (couple of lugs need to be prised with a flat bladed screwdriver) (with kettle lead removed as mentioned above)

Can be that it’s not happy with the drain pump speed or the heat pump speed.
Have you tried opening the door 3 or 4 times within the first 90 seconds to try and cheat it past the self test stage?

Flooded base generally wouldn’t cause no heat, I’m assuming it’s still washing but now cold?
