    Normally Heat pump failure.
Nice & easy to get to & to change.
Lid off & right side off & module removed.
Or kick plinth off, door off then front panel.

Once all the screws through the suspension restraint are removed you can pull up the heater box just enough to slide the element out. Gloves on though!

Re: Whirlpool to do a recall on Hotpoint dryers

I know your feelings towards Jo public are heightened due to the ISE venture & I understand that fully.
It’s hard work dealing with the public & their stresses / demands.
Believe you me I get tired with it but we can’t survive without them…
Its particularly difficult when you are conscientious & feel you give all you can. That doesn’t work with the irrational & the blinkered!!

K, it’s not just cleaning the filter though is it. These dryers do block up massively more than any others. The design is poor, really poor. (Been discussed to death)
Without these ‘muppets’ I would lose a good percentage of work. I often say that people not checking pockets keep my mortgage paid.
Not many people take responsibility for their actions or lack of actions in this case but that’s the general public for you.
You’ve got to love them or at least bite your tongue until they have paid the bill…

It COULD be a blockage in the circulation motor or the motor not running to speed.

Timer settings? As in selecting different programmes? Normally just the plastic control knob breaks & just slips on the shaft of the programme selector…

I’m guessing here. Could it mean its advising to do the drum clean cycle?
(Assuming it has such a thing)

I’m surprised I’ve even made it on the metal scale.
They should have made the scale more apt to our industry.
Haier Bush Indesit Bosch Miele for example.

    Re: Qualtex Account Closure

Ken, this is why I think it might be worth the WTA getting involved…

If the odd one man band phones Qualtex & complains about the closure of their account it wont be noticed or even get close to the person who came up with this daft idea.
But if the WTA get in touch with the correct person at Qualtex then there is more chance of them sitting up & taking notice. Especially with a nice long list of affected WTA members. Thus potentially reversing their daft idea.

Its got to be worth a go, hasn’t it?

(This is nothing to do with the 5pm cut off for orders)

    Re: Qualtex Account Closure

    Nothing.
But perhaps if members of the WTA are affected then this is where the WTA could come into action. Strength in numbers and all that!

Shame, I’ve just started selling Amica again after a while of not.
How do you find out if CDA need you or not? Is this something the WTA can help with?
