I don’t get it either FB?!

I personally was disapointed to see Mr Harrison leave. I wanted to at least say ‘Hello’ and try to get 5mins with him! Please correct me if I’m wrong, but to my knowledge, neither Mr Harrison or Mr Depper took time to speak to ANY of their agents that were there (If I’m wrong, please correct me, maybe it was just me they ignored!)… I think that is just, rude TBH.

Anyways, moving on, I can confirm that today, I officially gave notice of termination. For my business, the contract does not stand alone, so I had no choice. It was NOT an easy decision as they have been loyal to me regarding other agents in my area, and for that, I still have respect for them and wont leave them in the sh1t, therefore will continue to maintain the high standard of service we provide to them untill my replacement is appointed.

I’m placing rumours aside for now, and believing that DSG have simply forced Repaircare to make cuts as a money saving exercise, so that brings me to say, I think there is something terribly wrong with these desicion makers as what they have done is put Repaircare into a bad light, and cause other manufacturers to lose good agents (via Repaircare) because DSG want to save money!

If I were Repaircare management, based on the above, I’d be absolutely LIVID about the current nationwide situation, but for some reason, it’s largely ignored and accepted. Beats me like!

Anyways, given that I’ve resigned, I suppose the situation is no longer my concern, so I hope agents that continue with Repaircare can make it work, and I’d like to see Repaircare turn this around, it’s just unfortunate, I can’t financially prop up the contract until the day comes that might happen.

The fixed cost part of the website should be done tomorrow 🙂

Will post a link when I’ve given the YEY to go live, see what you think, it’s on a test domain at the moment, looks good methinks, but are a few adjustments to be done…

I don’t get it! What a SILLY SILLY post to put! Even if there was a shread of truth in how he’s portraying the accusation, the first port of call would be Management?!

I’ve had Mark on the phone and explained what little was said and how he instantly made his own vision of what I was saying and ignored any other communication from me, it seems HIS area manager is more p1ssed off at the fact he posted publicly, than me saying anything, so I dunno whether anything will happen, but he DEFINATELY now is a sour taste for Mark, without doubt!

    Hi George,

Agree with EVERYTHING you say! But do you want to try knock on a goverment door with these plans, whilst an unknown minority?

How does ANYONE set up Nationwide training and recognition with low cost? It’s impossible. For that, you NEED goverment funding and backing.

Again, UNTILL we stand up MASSIVELY in this trade as an association, not much will get listened to 🙁

Before we can persue anything, we have to ESTABLISH ourselves, as a trade… Hense the WTA. Trust me George, I’ve been to a goverment department, and one of the first things they want to know, is how big of a proportion of the trade we represent. Frustrating I know, but fact!

Everything you and others say is 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} True, and the more comments the better! The more people that comment, the more that can be a part of making times change! But… In fear of repeating myself, everything that’s said, will take YEARS, and CANNOT even be persued unless people stand up and join in!

    Adrian.

I agree Nigel. That I suppose was my job, and one I failed on because of fear of public speaking, that I didn’t know I had until the day, looking around the room (And that is something I will address by the next meeting)! My input in to the WTA untill now is silent work! No one knows what I do / where I go etc to keep pushing the COP through the OFT & it’s not really advertised, I was happy with that Friday, but in hind sight, you are spot on again, I should have presented and given people like yourself a chance to understand what we want & where we’re going! I apologise to you publicly for that and anyone else that may have the same thoughts.

Moving forward… I’m in your boat Nigel, along with every other person that gives a sh1t about our trade! I want a better future as I have a bl00dy long time (God willing) in it! But it isn’t something we can achieve overnight, and definately something we can’t achieve without passionate people like yourself getting on board and helping us row!

I believe in my earlier post, but what I believe for the future and what is factual now are two very different things! We only have 2 options Nigel, either 1: Accept it, shut it and the trade is on a long downward slope to nothing, or 2: Have some belief, input and TRY to change things.

Without the passionate people in this trade, it’s doomed! But if the passionate people unite, grow and make an effort (Whether it be financial via subs or man hours at a meeting somewhere, it’s all even) we have power, power will get ears to open, goverments to open their office doors to listen, and that is a FACT!

    Re: September meeting

I know it’s said elsewhere, but guys, thanks to those that attended, it’s because of you lot (WTA members), that we have the WTA!

For those that couldn’t attend, it was AWESOME! 120+ People, including Directors of spares suppliers, work providers, appliance distributers and even an appearence from a ‘Shareholder Director’ of CDSL!

Looking within the room, just showed how far the WTA has gone from 2yrs ago, when no one would give us 2 minutes from their day, to now, attracting guests from some bl00dy big companies!

The WTA is growing, slowly, and finally is now being recognised by most! So on that note, Thankyou members!
